Sweet & Sour Chicken

2 Tbsps. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. cold water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. onion salt
6 Tbsps. ketchup
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
3 to 4 chicken breasts, cubed
1/4 cup onions, diced


1.Combine 1 Tbsp. of the cornstarch with water. Mix thoroughly.

2.In a saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion salt, and ketchup.

3.Stir mixture and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture. Stir until sauce thickens.

4.In a sealable bag, combine raw chicken and remaining cornstarch. Shake until meat is coated.

5.Sauté chicken five minutes over medium heat until cooked through.

6.Add peppers, onions, and sauce. Stir well until everything is heated through.

7.Serve hot and enjoy!
