NOTE: Opaque = COLORED BACKGROUND - Invisible = INVISABLE BACKGROUND.

NOTE: There are two ways to save your pictures.

To save the photo with a color background, just click on SAVE AS.
The second way will have a transparent background
To save the photos as transparent you need to click on. FILE, EXPORT, GIFF OPTIMIZER.
For this illustration we will give it a TRANSPARENT background.

#1
Select a photo that you want to use for your card. You can decorate it any way you wish. You may add borders or anything you wish to do to that photo.

#2
Once you have the photo completed. click on IMAGE, RESIZE, and put a BULET in ACTUAL/ PRINT SIZE. Now look at the windows under PIXEL SIZE. That will tell you the exact size to make your INSIDE. (Layer 2). The example I am using is Width 200 - Height 228. That is what the INSIDE (layer 2) will be.

#3
Click on FILE, then click on NEW. Create a Transparent frame. Make your settings according to the size you determined the front of the card was. Mine is 200 x 228. Make your other settings just like I have. This will become LAYER2

#4
Select the color you want to use and click the Tool Options FLOOD/FILL. Now flood the blank frame.

#5
Create a second TRANSPARENT frame the same size as the first one you made. Now select the IMAGE tab and RESIZE. Put a bullet in PERCENTAGE OF ORIGINAL, now put in 130 X 130 for WIDTH AND HEIGHT. That will make the transparent backing 30% larger than the card. That will allow for the steps to come. Click OK
NOTE: this frame will become your Transparent backing, or Layer1

#6
You are now ready to start assembling your card. Right click on the one you are using for the inside (layer 2) of the card. Click COPY.

#7
Right click on the Transparent backing. and click PASTE AS NEW LAYER.
NOTE: that just became Layer2.

#8
Now right click on your FRONT COVER, The one with your picture. Click Copy and then click on the transparent backing and click PASTE as NEW LAYER.
NOTE: That now became Layer3.
NOTE: Be sure not to move the INSIDE of the card, as it is easy to move them around in the transparent. Incase you accidentally moved it, click on EDIT, UNDO MOVE.
